My DH and I decided to try and see if we can make things work. BM is starting to take SS every other weekend and we are trying to spend time together.

Well DH and BM decided that SS would spend Thanksgiving at BM's house and we'd drop him off on Wednesday at 2PM. She was suppose to call us on Saturday to confirm and finalize plans. Well it's now Monday and she hadn't called. Therefore I cancelled my plans for the week of Thanksgiving because DH has to work the day after Thanksgiving and Sunday.

Well now at 830 she calls DH and says she'll take him and to drop SS off at 2PM. This late into the game I didn't want to send SS because I know what BM is like and if we allow her to call and do things on her time schedule she just crosses more boundaries and things are going to get bad. Well DH was just happy that she called at all and is sending SS.

Why the hell does BM get to have no consequences and why is it that her time is more important than mine? I think if she said she'd call on Saturday and it's Monday than it is her loss and SS should stay home with us for Thanksgiving. I think that if we let her know that she's being held accountable than she wont keep trying to get away with crap like this.

I'm so tired of dealing with this crap...I'm thinking that trying to make this work is useless.
