The long drive was horrible.... But then again you all probably figured it would be. We saw some of my family for breakfast and dinner along the way which was nice. I hurt my foot RIght before we got on the road so I was in pain and had lack of sleep for over 30hours.

The hotel room was OK. I was hot but my SO forgot my tableside fan I always use in the vehicle. The Skids fell asleep quick and so did he. He kept raving about the hotel breakfast and rushed me to get ready and eat the next morning. The only thing good about the crappy breakfast was the cold juice. LOL. Eggs and sausage were cold and potatoes were undercooked.

We have been spending time with his extended family up here and its been good. The skids are so preoccupied that they have not bothered me too much.

My SS has been playing on the steps of the house we are staying in for the rest of the trip and admitted to climbing outside the rail. (LIKE A SPIDER) Up to the top. Soooooo today might be a bad day for SS.
