I did enjoy it, however, I read ex-Wives ex-Lives before and felt it applied even more to my and the future.

I liked Stepmonster but I didn't find that very much of it applied or was applicable to my particular situation.

However, one point in the book has become the "motto" of my marriage; the marriage comes first. The skids will grow up someday and leave home for relationships of their own. They won't tolerate interference in their relationships so why should we?

The book isan interesting read and I don't regret buying it.

Just a thought.

Stepmom's Toolbox Radio Show is another helpful resource. I signed up for the podcasts on iTunes & it's free, which is a bonus.

I found Stepmonster profoundly insightful, and very very useful. I have also read Ex-wives, Ex-lives, but did not find that it had anything much to offer - it was too superficial.
