SD9 has been having some issues with her teeth. If you remember, DH and I took her to court for neglect, including medical and dental. Both of the SDs have problems with their teeth. Well SD9 has two teeth that were hollowed out. BM didn't want them to pull her teeth so she had them put temporary fillings in. Over the last week, SD9 was having alot of pain. She was crying herself to sleep at night. DH took her to the dentist and had the two teeth pulled. They were baby teeth and there was no way to save them. This ended up costing us $315. According to the CO, BM is responsible for half of all medical/dental expenses. So DH took the invoice and a copy of the CO and sent it to BM by certified mail with a letter explaining that she was responsible for half. He even highlighted it in the CO.

Well BM got it in today's mail. She called here. Usually, I will not answer the phone when BM calls. But she was using this app to call so I had no idea it was her. She asked me about why SD had to have teeth pulled. She told me that we should have just had filling put in again. I tried to explain to her that the teeth were very infected and could have made SD9 sick. She started yelling at me, saying that SD could have toughed it out. She told me she wasn't paying for this. Apparently, we just had it treated to cause her financial problems.

My exact words: "Did you not hear me? Your daughter cried herself to sleep because she was in so much pain. And, you wonder why you lost your kids. If you had handled this before or actually practiced basic hygiene with the girls, we wouldn't have this bill. You can just deal with it. Don't call me again."

I hung up on her before she could respond. I was so pissed. What kind of mother doesn't care that their kid is in so much pain that she is crying herself to sleep. BM had some issues with her teeth and she didn't hesitate to get herself to the dentist. Ugh!
