SD15's BF's Dad

ChiefGrownup's picture

BF17 left a few days ago for his summer visit to his dad several hundred miles away. We look forward to this because we feel it's less to worry about these 2 being unsupervised for long chunks of time at BM's. Of course, we also think it's great for the boy and sets a good example for sd that he has a good relationship with his dad.

So suddenly ss13 starts randomly talking about his sister's boyfriend coming over. SS13 has no filter so if he overhears something and it seems the slightest bit interesting he will just blurt it out and you can take it as truth (unless garbled) because the autistic boy can't lie.

So I say to SD15 -- isn't bf in Dad'sState?

Oh, boy.

BF told dad he didn't want to be there away "from all his friends" (aka his gf) and his car and basically some words were had and Dad sent him back because kid is getting "old enough to make that decision."

I feel really bad for the dad. I also wonder what's up with this kid's mom because we've been told how "cool" she and her hubby are. Because of the Disney phenomenon, I am very wary of this phrase, them being "so cool." I also know the dad took the boy last summer on a tour of colleges during his time so I'm thinking I like the dad. Mom suddenly bought the car for boy last fall, no preamble, just handed him some keys one day and said "it's yours."

Now suddenly I'm wondering if she's one of "those" bms and she knew the car would keep him here come summertime.

I also now wonder if that boy is going to be able to leave for college in 2016 since he's showing signs of easily sacrificing Dad for whatever's going on at Mom's and in order to prevent being parted from SD.

Frowny face.

Oh, in other news, yesterday dh says to SD15: "Take a shower, you look like you need it." She protests, "I just took one a few days ago!!!" Ewwww! (DH and I were gone for the weekend so skids were at bm's for 2 weeks with this kind of 'sanitation') So this is what the boy is so attracted to he can't leave--a gnarly fermenting in her own juices petri dish.

Yup. She'll be 16 in a couple weeks. She's a perfect debutante.

As she argued for her right to remain in her filth, dh said "I'm not taking you to the hospital again -- shower!"

I was really happy he said that and happy he was thinking it. See my old post in Teen Forum for backstory on the hospital reference.

WTF...REALLY's picture

Bleeding into your bladder????? I did not know that could ever happen.

What is the matter with this girl???? Love how the dad bought up the hospital to her.

Not hardly. She claims they both don't want to bathe. Although the few times I've met him he seems quite decent in every way. I believe there's a bit of Eddie Haskell in him and I believe he's also blowing smoke up her skirt about his various preferences so he can continue to feel her up. Old as time. Teen boy.

I hate to say it but I am waiting for skid to have a gf that he can't part with for the summer and refuses to come visit. While, yes, it does suck...I can't help but think there's a SM on the other side who locked herself in the bathroom to dance for joy when her skid got sent back to BM and she got the rest of her summer free. He's 17? I dunno, I sort of feel for him. When I was 17 I was in college, and by the time I was 18 I also had a job and my own apartment. I'm not sure I could have put my own life on hold for 2-3 months to go visit my parents. A week, sure, but not the summer.

He's nowhere near college yet. Starting his senior year in the fall. He would not have been there for 3 mos. He was scheduled to be there 5 weeks.

He simply does not have that much of a life nor is he that independent. I feel bad for the dad and I fear the boy may be going off the rails a bit when the dad was aiming him at college.
