Not SM related but what a weekend!

So this summer DH and I have been taking the family camping locally with the camper we bought used. Staying local to work out the kinks and be safe. So this weekend was the third trip. First trip was a good start but the camp ground wasn't really what we were looking for and wont go back. The second one we fell in love with. Its amazing, family oriented, theres a pond, a water slide (they will open if enough kids are going on it), game room, peddle/paddle boats, etc. They are really down to earth (new) owners. The kids had a great time as did we. It was just wonderful! So we had the kids stay with family this weekend so DH and I could have a weekend camping to ourselves (much needed...we never take time to ourselves like that). We had a lot more time to do things we wanted to do and one of those things was slow leisurely walks around the grounds just chit chatting.(also went out and went fishing for 3 hours-DH caught nothing. I caught 2 fish. One was too small but the second was a good sized catfish I skinned and cleaned myself! Hell Yes! Lol) Anyway there is a trailer park you have to go through to get to the entrance of the campground. We were walking around there one night and realized one of the trailers looks like the pics we have seen of where my ex-husband's place. So we drove by it later on in out truck which has some very diff new parts on it so he didn't recognize it but figured out its deff his place. He and his gf were standing outside. What the hell are the odds that we would fall in love with a campground right where he lives?!? If you have read some of my post blogs my ex is my 6 yr old son's bio and DH has since adopted him since ex didn't want to pay child support anymore and agreed to sign over rights to DH to keep his money (seriously best choice he ever made for my son...he a pos). The lake, playground, and slide are open to the public as a swimming area for a small fee during certain hours every day. Ex could easily be down at the lake the same time as us and if BS6 saw him it would be a huge set back for him. Thank God there hasn't been an accidental run in so far and since we love going there so much at least we know now to be careful and keep an eye out but seriously? of all the places he could live of course it has to be there....ugggg...

I know you said you love the place but find somewhere else to go. Do you really feel like having to check every two seconds if your ex is there? You won't be able to relax and if it's going to cause issues for your son, why risk it?

There is another one we heard about locally that people say compares to this one. We are going to check that one out next time but it really is such a bummer. Its already one of those places we show up and the owners know us by name and treat us really well and we actually have learned a lot from them (being new to using a camper for camping). One of the things that really sucks about small towns I guess.
