So my husband is the Director of Sales and Business Development for a software company. It is not a secret that he is the highest paid employee at the company. It's even safe to say he takes home more than the owner does- liquid anyway (because the owner leaves most of his money within the company, his wife is an RN and they do very well on her income and he is setting himself up to sell the company when he is ready to retire and make millions off of it). My husband is also very outgoing, and makes people feel very comfortable when they start working there. The company has a great moral. And, not to mention, he is pretty damn good looking for a 40 year old man. So, I have had to deal with my fair share of little office girls vying for his attention. It was an "issue" for a minute. My husband REALLY liked the attention and his very short lived midlife crisis just ate it up. But he has since gotten over that and just ignores them.

So... about a year ago this girl starts working there. She is 27 years old. Recently divorced, 2 young boys. She is tall, thin and has great hair and skin. At best though, she is mildly attractive in the "conventional" sense. She LOVES attention from the men. And I mean LOVES IT!! She dresses boarder line inappropriate for work, and even on days when the entire office is completing physical labor (they recently remodeled their office) she makes sure that her hair and make up are perfect and of course wears yoga pants and whatever skin tight shirt she can find.

I started noticing about 10 months ago that she doesn't say hi to me when I come in. She sat right inside the front door up until a few months ago. Everyone else in the office not only says hi when they see me, they go out of their way to come say hi if they hear I am there. Including the owner. I most times will go sit in his office and chat for a few before I even go upstairs to see DH. She WILL not say hi to me. Looks me dead in the face and turns away. WTF?

So, of course I find her on instagram to see what her story is. And... my BFF now works there so she filled me in as well. First, her instagram is FULL of selfies with #hotmom #fitchick even one that says "So grateful that I am not ugly", "even when I am sick I look fabulous" "loving the lighting at my desk, I look so hot". Literally hundreds of pictures of herself talking about how pretty she is and how fit she is. So I go scrolling... about a year and a half ago, she was probably a good 50 pounds heavier. Ok, good for you for getting healthy. That's awesome. But seriously, what is your deal??

Insert investigator BFF...turns out chick had kids with this guy, 5 years later married dude because he was supporting her, and made good money. She was a SAHM. While her husband was out working his ass off for their family, she remolded their house, decided to loose a ton of weight, and then... you guessed it, slept with her husbands best friend.

So now... she is thinner, and single. But has hardly ANY custody of her boys, and lives in a 1 bedroom apartment and had to get a job. Poor whittle BM. When she started working for this company, she literally ASKED who made the most money, and started trying to get SUPER chummy with DH. Apparently ALL of the guys give her the attention she is looking for EXCEPT for the owner and DH.

When I went to the office yesterday to retrieve BM's love letters to DH, she walked in to the front office, saw me, turned around and walked out. Awwww... what's the matter honey? Did my husband hurt your ego?

I asked DH why she is so rude to me and he tells me this:
I guess one of the guys there pointed out to my DH that she was trying REALLY hard to get his attention, DH responded with "well, she may as well give up because I'm very married and my wife is WAY hotter than her". This guy says "she's only after your money anyway" DH says "well she isn't getting that either. That's reserved for my wife and kids, right along with the rest of me". Well... chick was standing around the corner and heard him. HAHAHAHAHAH Apparently she's butt hurt because he didn't give in to her need for attention and says "she isn't NEARLY as cute as she thinks she is. And, she has 2 bratty little boys that she doesn't even take care of".

So today, she is posting on instagram about how she is going in for her boob job in a few hours.

Can we all say LOW SELF ESTEEM???
