gross gross GROSS!!!
SD10 went to the bathroom. When I went in there after her there was poo smeared on the seat! When I told her to go into the bathroom to clean up her mess, she went in and just put the toilet seat down without cleaning it up!
GROSS! DH had to go in and hover over her while she cleaned it up! DISGUSTING!
There is no way at any age I would have left my poo smears ANYWHERE after the age of 3 she's 10...ugh...

Ok yes this is gross! I have a 10 yr old daughter that has done this. The kids have their own bathroom and blame each other for any poop that I may find. I have since stopped cleaning the kids bathroom, showed them what to do and gave them all of the necessary supplies to take care of the "poop" problems. I am so sick of finding poop!!! Oh and she loves to forget to flush so she leaves nice presents in the bowl. This is why I do not allow them to use my bathroom EVER!!
And it never goes away because chances are its now on her underwear too!!

i wasn't so bothered that it happenned...it was that when i told her to clean her mess up (trying to be as delicate as possible, because this would have MORTIFIED me at ANY age) she just put the toilet seat down and LEFT it there.
but it's good to know other 10 year olds do this...
the 8 year old is the one that doesn't flush or wipe properly...sigh...
if you can't tell...i don't have kids of my own so i get shocked on a regular basis! :jawdrop:

I don't know why they do this either. Its gross and my daughter is a very clean little girl except for the bathroom!! When we moved into this house I told DH if it only had one bathroom then no way because I refuse to share a bathroom with my daughter and SD15. They are both gross. Now SD15 likes to leave gross pads around the bathroom and not wrap them and misses the trash. It gets worse as they get older!!
I am constantly fighting with them to clean the bathroom and they are both old enough to do it. I refuse to even go in there. I have found poop on the wall, on a towel on the floor, its gross. And like I said, my daughter is very neat and clean and is a good little girl. Whats the problem?? And she gets very mad and defensive when I bring it up!!

The biggest fight in our house is the stupid bathroom!!
DH got all the kids together one day and told them he was going to reteach them how to poop, wipe, then flush. They all ran away crying!! It was hilarious!!

SD9 regularly does stuff like this. Then when she wants to do something cool, like ride her bike out of my sight on our street, she goes whining to daddy when I'm like, "No way. Start wiping your own ass and we can renegotiate your privelages. Til then, you get to ride in a circle with the rest of the little littles."

i work in health care and my 90 year old dementia patients do this but thankfully not SD9. i dont have kids of my own either and i would be grossed out to find this in my house. although, i keep a box of babywipes and lysol wipes on top of the toilet.
