I am at my wits end. My 22 year old stepson, (SS-hate to call him this), has been out of prison since last August on a felony child endangerment/neglect charge-for which he served 3 years of a 5 year sentence. Before SS went to prison for this, he'd been in and out of jail and juvenile detention centers all of his adolescent years for anything from shoplifting to getting into fights. He is rude, angry, and ugly. I can't stand to be around him to almost starving his own baby to death and beating up his ex girlfriend.

So SD5 has to repeat kindergarten. She probably should have went to young 5's initially but we put her in kindergarten...we dont feel that she is ready for first grade so she will be repeating.

Kindergarten graduation is next Friday. The last day of school is the following Wednesday. We assumed since SD5 will not be progressing to first grade that she would just skip the graduation Friday. Apparently I was wrong.

She still is suppose to go, and participate! WHAT!?! Why? I cant get a good answer.

He actually said it. Ha. It's been a week and I feel like I can finally blog about it. I will be blunt. My husband is a jerk. I know this, everyone knows this. It is who he is. I love him anyway.

That being said my husband is barely a parent. Sure he loves his girls but he cant be bothered with them. He participates in the fun stuff sometimes but otherwise he is there to open the tight lids and reach things on the top shelf...and for occassional (and I mean occassional) babysitting duties.

Here we are a little over 2 weeks until our trip to Florida. I am finding myself dreading having to meet the woman who has been such a massive pain in my ass without having ever even spoken to her. I hate her with every fiber of my being and it is getting worse as each day passes.

I just don't understand why my finance insist in always using the "Good guy/ friend" approach when it comes to disciplining SD9. There are times when she can be as sweet as pie and other times when she acts like Satan's spun, especially after coming from her mothers!

:? I don't really know where to begin...I'll just start when we were dating. Okay, when my husband & I first started dating, i met his daughter(she was 1 & a half yrs old at the time). She began to get use to me being around after i spent time with her when she visited every weekend (he wud to pick her up fridays after work & take her home sunday evenings), he always brought her clothes, pull ups, cups & whatever else she needed.(he wasn't on cs). I bonded really well with her, i bathed her for him, fed her & played with her.

Lowely morning. Exhausted from our “vacation.” I wake up with effort and shuffle to the bathroom to do my business. As I sit there, I think about the birth control pill pack I’m about to start and about the internet cheapie (IC) ovulation and pregnancy tests I still haven’t used. I won’t be using those for a while. Regardless, I take out 2 different brand IC ovulation tests. I peed in a cup and did the usual. Setting them aside, I eyed the small pink packet that holds the pregnancy test. With a sigh I grab it out too and decide to try it out.

Yeah, this is kinda long...

We are going tomorrow to stay the night at SS's apartment. I can tell SS is still angry at my husband but I think its time they got past this. We are going to be there from Saturday afternoon till Sunday evening. SS organized a lunch on Sunday for us and some friends he made in the apartment building. They are either single mothers or couples with babies themselves. They created this babysitting circle where they take turns babysitting for each other. It is a pretty neat idea.

I love staying home w/our kids, but I can't get my husband to understand that I need to have a break. Summers are busy, we have baseball, dance, camps and a whole lot of driving. My husband is helping coaching baseball and I know he loves it, but I'm stuck at home w/2 babies from 7am til 9pm monday thru friday, all day saturday, then sunday it seems like he needs the break from working all the time. I have 4 Bkids, 2 Skids and we have 2 together. My Skids are here every other week, they are all pretty good kids, but I'm getting stressed and tired.
