BM thinks she is going to join the Air Force...

BSgoinon's picture

She posted on FB that her dad things she should join the AF or Peace Corp. Of course Peace Corp doesn't have an age cap... Air Force Caps out at 39... BM is 38 and 4 months.

I wish someone would remind her that she can't do drugs in the Air Force. And I highly doubt they will take her at her age, she isn't a HEALTH 38. They will take one look at her and laugh her out of the recruiters office.

Which sucks, maybe the military is exactly what she needs...

A friend and I thought about joining the Peace Corps many years ago. They required a college education (we were just out of high school). They are not there to train people and make something out of them, they want people who already have something to offer and can make a difference in the world.

Pretty sure Meth BM is not qualified.

Maybe that's why she is focusing on Air Force. All of it is so funny to me.

"Applying to become a Peace Corps Volunteer is a competitive process, and many positions have minimum education, work/volunteer experience and/or language requirements to qualify for consideration. However, there are assignments that accept professionals with a wealth of work experience in place of a degree."

I'm pretty sure her meth experience and having sex with pretend demons is not the "wealth of work experience" they are looking for, either.

Hmmm...you are probably right, and with the plethora of experience she does have in those fields, she doesn't even have to include those things on her resume. It is written allll over her face.

That's what I was going to add. The Peace Corps is for COLLEGE grads. Both my older kids gave it a look when they were seniors in college because the economy was so bad, but both chose grad school instead. (Now a lawyer and a policy analyst)As I recall it's not that easy to get in, and it's quite a feather in your cap when you leave for your resume. Short answer: no meth heads needed.

What is with these two? They are WAY too much alike. It's scary to think there is another one out there like BM. :O

Yup!!! And not quite smart enough to hold on to the poor idiots that were willing. DH used to tell BM all the time (Pre-meth addiction days) -Go find yourself a REALLY nice guy that has a decent job, that is willing to take care of you. He probably won't be Mr Perfect, but face it, you're no peach yourself.

Always pissed her off. Apparently she thought DH was the "really nice guy willing to take care of her"... well, he's a nice guy... just not willing to support her dumbass.

I know, I thought about that too! She would end up in the infirmary within the first 24 hours BEGGING for pain killers. Then... dishonorable discharge for disorderly conduct after she threatens the Dr's when they assume she is a drug seeker. LMAO. Just like at the County facility last year. LOL

Isn't that SO true? She's also "gone to paralegal school"... because who wouldn't want her representing them in court? :?

Reminds me of when SS32 announced that he was going to become an Air Force Fighter pilot. He of course was a high school dropout, had spend 3 1/2 years in juvie, had been to jail multiple times, was homeless and abusing drugs and alcohol. He'd occasionally bus tables off the books until he got fired. That was his total work experience at 27.

When informed that was not going to be possible, he decided he'd become a firefighter. Absolutely delusional.

He worked as a plumber's helper for a few days once and started telling people that he was a plumber. I'm sure that he didn't have a clue what one has to do to become a licensed plumber. When working and McDonald's once (again very short lived) he put on FB that he was chef the Mac Grille.
