Pretty silver brcelets

Oldmom's picture

So several weeks ago mommy dearest (almost ex DIL) and her new drug dealing bf went to a convenience store where he decided to shop lift. She stood at the counter and waited while he did his thing. When confronted by the store owner he lifted his sweat jacket and the store owner saw his gun. When the owner yelled to his wife to call the cops he took the gun out of his waistband and handed it to ex-dil to hide in the car. And she did.

Police came and she refused to cooperate and was put in pretty silver bracelets and placed in the back of the patrol car. However after a while gave up the location of the gun. She, unfortunately was let go. Druggie was arrested for shop lifting and since he had drugs, possession with intent. But as of right now was not charged with possession of a gun. (the gun was really a pellet gun but the store owner didn't know that)

Court was this week. The DA asked for a copy of the surveillance tape from the store. Ex-dil is on the tape taking the gun out of the store.

So would it be really wrong of me to ask my friends in the DA's office to arrest her for accessory after the fact and concealing evidence? And also ask the druggie be charged with having an instrument of crime (gun)???

Nope, not inappropriate at all. Just ask if what she is on tape doing is a crime and if she has been arrested and have charges been filed.

Noting that any safety and law & order consciouise citizen would't ask. Your friends, you can ask them whatever you want.
