Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

I found out a few months ago somebody had access to our Comcast/Netflix/Hulu accounts
located in the same town as BM.
because I pay THOSE bills-I changed the passwords to all 3 accounts
and the WIFI password for good measure.
Last month SD16 (who hasn't been around in months) called DH crying she couldn't access
our Comcast account to watch whatever trashy reality show she's into....DH had no clue so I told him
(and her both) sorry must live in this house to get those benefits!
BM tried to bitch as well but I just hung up on her.
There is no way I'd share anything with her anymore.
We also got complaints from BM's sister who's 2 kids also had access to OUR accounts
via SD16.
Apparently SD16 just shared our info with everybody and now they're all pissed I cut them off.
Soooo sad....too bad
