DH was off work last wk, unpaid

littlemommy's picture

Yes I fully realize he will have to pay the difference in CS in the next coming wks, but this just feels like such a small victory that for ONE WEEK BM won't be able to suck money out of DH's paycheck.

Yes I am that petty now. If she calls to scream about it (which I'm sure she will), I am seriously considering telling her he quit just to have her call domestic relations carrying on like a banshee and look like a dumbass }:)

What petty small 'victory' have you had?

I'm not seeing deadbeat here..... I would LOVE for BM to have to do without when DH doesn't get paid. IF they were still married she wouldn't even get a makeup check! She would simply have to do without!

I agree if they were still married they would just do without and deal. It wasn;t that the op set out to be mean to the bm nor wasn;t that her dh set to be mean or be a dead beat. He simply missed work for a reason out of his control and he will make up the ONE payment he will miss. Hardly a dead beat.

I get it! These idiots think that they should benefit from increases as if married but NEVER suffer...Happy day to you too! I too would be cracking up!

Yea I know this thing about keeping the kids at the same life style is crap b/c it should stay the same for WHEN they were married not be benefit from the hard work while NOT being married to that man.

I get that fathers should support their kids trust me I am on the side too but this crap about getting a raise every freaking time the dad gets one is NUTS. It should stay the same life style it was when they were together b/c that guy worked his butt off to make the money he is making and she was NOT there to help or invest in that! Plus it should be required that mothers work and have to pay the equal support too. He didn't make those babies by himself!

He's far from a deadbeat, he has always paid CS, he didn't even petition to have it lowered when he was unemployed temporarily a few yrs ago due to layoff and paid over twice as much as what the state would've required him to. If you want to talk deadbeat we can talk about BM and her career plan aka welfare.

momof6 she is NOT encouraging him to be a dead beat nor is he a dead beat! GEEZ he missed 1 effing payment! The world is about to end omg we need to make it headlining news that ops dh is a dead beat just b/c of circumstances he missed a CS payment but the kicker is he will make it up the next week.

Holy crap she said in her post that he will only miss one payment! How is that a dead beat?? It is not! Yes karma is a bitch you might to remember that yourself.

I would think 90% of us on this board have had evil thoughts of things we would do or say given a chance. I have had 12 yrs of them.

She posted her evil thought and asked for ours.

She's not perfect nor is anyone for that matter. It was a side comment not like she really will do it. good grief. It was just a thought and that was all a THOUGHT.

Momof6 - being chronically angry and hostile raises the risk of heart attacks. Major research work at Stanford on this subject.

Op to answer your question.....

Small petty victory:

For 12 years we jumped thru every hoop to get skids as much as possible. We begged borrowed pleaded begged. We received emails from the get go that they hated our house and didn't want to stay for longer than a weekend.

Over the summer SS missed weekends as well...bm started complaining....with a you don't know how hard it is, yadda yadda yadda.

Should never give kids an option. You would then get the break you want. Karma came back and bit her..... Dh said you gave him the option years ago.
