Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

Yay for Dawn and
Yay for Dawn and Admin!
Guess I'd better be paying attention in moderating though, as i'm sure the nod in the magazine will bring us some hostile traffic as well (if not a lot of spam!)
Thanks for posting this Jsmom. I'm going to check it out now.

Hey - can you post the title and author of the article? I'm trying to see if I can find it on their site online.
Thanks!

It is in the January
It is in the January magazine that was mailed out this last week. Page 76. If you want to privately email me - I can scan it and email it to you. It is actually a pretty good article on how to "Make Your Blended Family Work". With some advice we have all heard and others we should hear more often, like working with our spouses as a team.
The author of the article is Emily Hendricks Turner.
We just picked up an issue.
We just picked up an issue. Thanks so much for letting us know we were mentioned in the article. We'll have to frame this one for sure!
