It Begins (Again)
YSS stb 16 starting grade 10 has fired up his pattern of showing up late every day for school and early dismissaling himself for no good reason. He's also back on his trend of not turning in or doing assignments. Seven and counting. Coming up next: Skipping school entirely (whole classes and days).

Sounds like my SS too. His attendance was atrocious and he literally lived right next door to the school. His grades were also awful. Yet BM has pushed him into Community College and DH will have to pay, despite having no input into his entire high school years. These mothers destroy their kids for any kind of normal functioning.

it's a 15 minute WALK to school from his house. By car it is a 3 minute DRIVE. The Girhippos GRUELING commute is exactly THREE MINUTES I kid you not. NONE of them go outside a five mile radius of the Gir's BM, Battleaxe Galactica.

That's a whole 15 minutes! My SS could have been in class in 5 minutes after getting out of bed, but he still couldn't get there on time, or sometimes at all. Those video games won't play themselves, you know!

StepDaddyBigBucks has the longest commute approx 45 minutes. SD stb 20 had a grueling commute to remedial community college where she failed out in the first 3 months. . .15 minute drive.
