Merry Christmas Steppers!

Just wanted to wish everyone a great day - as wonderful as it can possibly be.

It's just me, DH and baby today... cooking and cleaning and with zero presents to open, but the presence of ourselves and a beautiful day to spend together making memories. Smile

I'm missing my family like crazy but will call them later.

Merry Christmas to you. Our celebration was a few days ago and we have taken down the tree and everything as of yesterday. My littlest skid got picked up yesterday and the middle one gets picked up today. My bios are spending a few days with my parents and grandmother. I'll toodle over there today and visit with my folks with baby for a while. After that it'll just be baby and SS12, who won't be going anywhere again this holiday. But we're going to do some fun stuff, just the two of us, this next week.

I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. I'm cooking a big beef roast. My family surprised me with...well, not exactly a gift, but I've been wanting to get dinnerware and new flatware for a long time. My SOs chipped in giftcards and opinions and we settled on a new set of dishes, and a new set of flatware, and my mother tells me there is a new set of dinner glasses at her house to go with! So for the past few days we've been eating off the new stuff, and it really enhances my dining experience. We have a fam of 9, so mealtime is a big production around here, and I enjoy it every single day. At dinner tonight we will be down to enough people to sit at the pub table...how wierd! That only happens once in a great while. I love it.

So if anyone is looking for me, I'll be fawning over my new stoneware. Biggrin s
