School District Agrees to Enroll SS even though DH has shown that she has moved illgally

Well DH talked to the assistant superintendent and there is nothing he will do to Block SS from enrolling in the new school district. He basically told DH to hope he gets a court order before BM completes the enrollment paperwork.....

This is all so freaking frustrating! She moved illegally and our lawyer said at worst the Judge will order her to move back to X school district, and then he will have to switch schools yet again.....

God I pray the the Childrens Services Worker is the one who can save the day by quickly getting him to our care before she enrolls him tomorrow.

Or that the Judge will see the way this is headed and grant us emergency custody when the motion gets in front of him......

Anyone have any inkling or idea how to get laws started in Mo that could prevent this from happening? They should not be able to move school districts when they can not prove that they have moved a child with joint custody parents legally after properly notifiyng the courts....who is out there actually watching out for the best interest of my SS, besides me and my DH and I beginning to think everyone views us as just trying to make trouble!!

I don't know that there's much the school can do without a CO in place regarding DH, BM and SS. Did DH call the children's services worker?

You could start a petition to your state senators and reps on change.org.

He has not called the Childrens services worker since he found out. What is really irritating is that he has lived at her BF all school year but tried like hell to hide it from us, to the extent of driving him to his prior school district everyday. Then when the school started questioning his attendance then she decides it is time to move.....just so frustrating.

I will try the Change.org! Thanks

Isn't it ridiculous? BM refuses to enroll ex-SS9 in her school district a half hour away because she has to drive SS14 to school here anyway. And she knows her district is one of the bottom ten in our state. Our school is letting him stay because DH lives in the district. Once the adoption goes through, she won't have a choice.
