Dh got a call last Wed from the school. Ss12 stole a pad of tardy slips.

He lied lied lied to dh Wednesday night swearing on his dead grandfathers grave that he didn't take the slips. Thursday morning the principal calls him in to deal with the referral. Denies denies denies to the principal.....says that he's just been saving up slips all year and he didn't steal any. Then the principal points out that he has more slips (pristine with perfect corners) than there have been days of school. He had 80-something slips. So they call around to the different staff members who have these slips and lo and behold, they find the administrator who is missing his entire pad of tardy slips.....and ss had been in his office on Tuesday. Little asshole s ole it from his desk. Only then does ss come clean and admit that he took them.

Putting aside how dumb it was to do as a whole, how fucking stupid is this kid? Wouldn't you take some....like 10 or 20 and leave the rest? Ya know, so the admin will never even notice they are missing? And then if you get caught with a giant stack of them its not so obvious that you stole them? Why on earth would he take all of them....this kid has no concept of thinking ahead or cause and effect.

So now Captain Asshole has a three day out of school suspension. Luckily our county runs detention centers for asshole kids on school suspensions, so that's where he went on Friday and where he's going today. Unfortunately there's no busing to these centers, and they get out at 2:15. So dh took Friday off(at no pay ) to deal with him, and he has Mondays off already. But no way to get C-A picked up on Tuesday, so he will be staying home.

I can't see any way this kid will make it through Jr high, let alone graduate High school. FML.
