tball round 2!

smnikki's picture

yesterday was my second time at tball with fh.

It was sooooooooooooooo perfect! I was sure to say hello to bm, and then sat down next to fil which she was on the other side. fh did not leave my side except to help the coach with stuff. SS was an angel and did soooo good! hes the most coordinated and i was so proud! to top it all off, he continued to look at me and grin ear to ear! if he did something and we cheered or clapped he would look at fh and i not bm. fil asked me how my bridal shower was, and fh went on and on about how much stuff we got! He gave his dad a tin of mints from the shower with our names. Then fh was talking about how cute it was that the little girls had pink bats and helmets...and how he cant wait if we have a girl we can do the same. i took pictures of ss, and commented on how he was such a great father to be out there helping ss, how ss loves his daddy so much...all was herd by bm. Twice she got up to leave the area to go smoke...um, hello mother of the year you cant go 1hr with out cigarettes to watch YOUR son play tball?

heres the really funny one, fh asks what time she has work wed, because he is going to pick him up. bm says, uhhhh, i go in late what time do you want to, fh says 10, DUH! we know you lost your job again!! anyways, so obviously she is broke, we are looking at the form for photos on wed, and she tells fh, why dont we just fill out one sheet, ill pick them up and give them to you, fh, says uh, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO we can fill out two, bm says ok fine whatever, and never said anything else! WTF, Wdoes she think she can be psycho one minute and nice the next and we should kiss her azz?

The way moo cow is... She will send me texts saying I am a worthless stepmom and DH is a worthless dad, Then 15 minutes later calls DH and asks about something like "My oldest daughter's (not DH's kid) car is overheating can you go to her house and look at it?" That was seriously 15 minutes later..... These BM's think the world truely revolves around them and if they have a "PMS" moment then everyone should stop and give them the time of day and then snap lets be friends again K?

Yes they do! Until this entire unfortunate decision in my life, I had NEVER met anyone so narcissistic as the BM! She is absolutely horrid to me...in Arabic, she would be called a sharmoota! In fact I may start calling her that until she's out of my life for good }:)

Anyway, for the last year she has been her usual evil self and has been horrid to me. She texts DH on my cell phone -- not sure why she pretends it's his, I honestly don't understand her on this one. (What she doesn't realize is I prefer it this way b/c then I'm the first in the loop to find out what her next ridiculous plan is, and then I can stop it!) So the other day she texts me/DH and TELLS us how and when we will celebrate SS's birthday. Excuse me, who in the world do you think you are?!?!

I sent a reply that said, no we will not be doing that, do not tell SS that we will. We have our own plans and we can fully handle throwing a birthday party.

I know what this is about -- I out do her on the birthday parties EVERY year. It's actually not something I set out to do. Birthdays are a HUGE deal in our family! Since we were little kids, we had very fancy cakes and all that, I've since carried it over to the next generation of kids, and since I didn't want the skids to feel that they were treated any differently, I did the same for them. I think it makes her jealous that she can't do the same things that I do. In fact I found out where she's wanting to take classes to learn how to make all the specialty cakes...some of it she can learn, but I'd love to see her do some of the elaborate fondant and gum paste sculptures LOL. That would require talent, and I'm sorry but BM is too lazy to develop any talent!

that you had a good day!! I always remind myself that BM probably feels more uncomfortable with me being there Smile than I am with her.
