The all seeing eye of DH...

I guess one way to ensure BM does what she's supposed to do is to let her know DH is WATCHING *cue spooky music*...

So I blogged a while ago about how BM wasn't feeding SD before taking her to school then forbidding her to go to the cafeteria for breakfast to prevent her from being late...

I came up with a solution (that DH and I can affect), and DH implemented it via the teacher...DH took some cereal bars and capri suns to the teacher to give to SD on the days she doesn't eat...

So DH found out yesterday, that SD has only needed the stash a few times...Apparently, SD said that she told her mom she didn't need to rush anymore because daddy gave the teacher breakfast stuff for her when mommy is late...So after hearing that, BM has been getting up every single morning on time and getting her to school on time in order to get breakfast. (DH checked her attendance sheet, lol...she went from being late 9 days over a 2 week period to only 3...That's progress...)

*plays Freddie Kreuger music*

DH sees and knows ALLLLL!!!!

In all seriousness, I'm just happy BM is getting her chit together and actually organizing herself...I don't care how she does it...what she does at her house, what folks might think SD or BM could or SHOULD be doing at BM house, just as long as SD is being fed...

Wow that is great!!! Whatever works right }:) Does your BM have a job?? It amazes me how my SD can be late so many times or not even go to school at all and BM has no job!!! No excuse not to get up and get your child to school. I always worked and got my three kids to school on time it is hard some days but it can be done LOL

BM is a substitute teacher...I don't think it's full time, but it's a job...This is recent though...She went a few years without a job, and I didn't get it...I guess she's trying to better herself...I guess...She's still crazy, though...
