OT The Cat May Have Broken Her Leg

Pecanflower's picture

FARTS FARTS FARTS....

I get a message from DH a moment ago. His cat FaceCake and SS15's cat ButterScotch the ButterBall were doing their morning wrestle and the fat one got injured...to the point that she is in horrible pain and won't walk on her back leg (which was previously broken as a kitten)

UGH.

My SS15 is inconsolable. This is HIS baby. She is his best friend and he is about to come out of his skin.

The soonest the vet could get us in today is in two hours and 15 minutes from now.

Anyone have vodka?

I hope your kitty gets well soon.....

our vets give a dang, they only see you by appointment... thus I made appointments for the whole day every 15min and said, if I'm not there give some one who walked in my space.......

now they changed it lol...... vaccinations etc, appointments only in the afternoons, emergencies and any other thing mornings, if you get there the afternoon you wait a bit, in the mornings it's first come first serve...

Not broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But may be dislocated. Gotta wait for the head tech to read the xray. But she has been given a heavy duty pain shot and is resting a bit more comfortably. Seems like we are going to have to sell SS15's loft bed (he is getting too big for it anyway). Because Butterscotch the ButterBall...Now known as ButterScotch the ROTUND keeps hurting herself.

You know, my momma used to say, that she wanted to be reincarnated as one of my animals because I would starve before I would let any harm happen to them. I, umm, think I am failing in that.

Good news! Although I can't imagine dislocation feels too good either. Thankfully, our fat cat is smart enough to not even try to get up high places. He knows better!

Kitty has dislocated knee. She is being forced to relax. She goes back to vet tomorrow. She is dumb. She keeps trying to climb. We are going to have to get SS15 a more standard bed.
