Schools are closed for in-person instruction for the rest of the year here.  Our stay at home order now goes through Memorial Day.  DH is in the trades, so he's still working - I guess he's essential.

My business is labeled essential as well since it's construction. At least we still have some income coming in.

We are shut down in CA, they are doing online.  Sad really since my BD was set to graduate 8th grade, we had just gotten her a dress and she was getting ready for all her eight grade end of year stuff, plus spring performance and that's all done for now.

I do feel bad for all of the things that students, like seniors, will miss out on. I didn't really care about most of it but it's important to a lot of them and they won't get to experience it, not like they should.

Right. My brother is super upset. I'm not sure if they fully cancelled the ceremony. I think they're still deciding what their gonna do.

School here is done for the 2019-2020 school year. Shut down/stay at home extended to at least May 15. I'm still working though, my company is considered essential and DH is also essential.

29th april but parents won’t be penalised for not sending their kids. Its still a way off for when it will be mandatory to send kids to school but the past week our state has had single digit rises of cases and 90% of them are passengers off cruise ships so community transmission is starting to be under control.

e are still in a sort of lockdown with social distancing till at least september

Here in NY, we now have to wear masks in any public setting, stores like Target are turning people away if they aren't wearing a face covering. Schools are still closed but they are doing a great job with online learning. My business had to close, SO is working from home.

I'm in France and only essential businesses are open - think we're starting our 6th week of lockdown.

The government is talking about starting to open schools on May 11th but I suspect that it's just a date to give people something to look forward to. I truly doubt we'll be ready for that by then. Besides, all the surrounding countries have decided on no school until September ... One of my daughters is in her final year at school and will have her exam results decided on past performance mainly ... and the prom was cancelled weeks ago.

They had us out on a limb as well as far as school opening dates. First they said May 4, then I think it was may 30. Now it's closed for the school year.

New York here. NOT the city! We're on quarantine till 5/15, at least as of right now/ schools are most likely closed for the rest of the school year. I don't have school aged kids, but I feel bad for my niece as it's her senior year. DH has been working from home, and I've been home but not working. My agency doesn't have the equipment/bandwidth for us to work from home. So I guess this is what retirement feels like!
