Mission accomplished!

This year I had decided I would do my best to make this father's day unforgettable for DH, mostly because it is the first one as a father to our baby boy. His first first father's day was terrible, around 8 years ago. BM cheated and falsely accused him of aggravated assault, got him put in jail, all that. On his first father's day. So I decided I wanted to give him an actual positive, if not THE BEST 1st dad's day, with me and our son. His favorite breakfast, matching baby and dad "our first father's day" t-shirts, new shoes, sandals, a personalized gift basket made by me *blush* a GIANT balloon delivered to our home "world's best daddy". Home made cheesecake, church, dinner at his favorite restaurant. The list goes on! He loved it, I loved it. SD was here as well (on our way to drop her off now) she didn't even bother to make him a card, nothing. And yes I reminded her several times before.

I'm glad he had a good day!  Maybe SS will learn by example.

I hope so, for her dad's sake. I tried including her in our activities but she just could NOT get rid of her bummed attitude and "I'm bored" face. It's so irritating. She's just a bored ,uncaring kid. wonders why I wanted an EOW schedule rather than all weekends. I hate seeing DH jump through hoops to please this ungrateful kid.

My 3 SKs usef to drive me crazy with some of their boirish behavior.  Turns out they just didnt know better.  Im talking about manners, social things, gift giving, etc.  Over time, they picked it up.  Maybe she will, too.

He did feel bad for not doing more on my 1st mother's day lol (which wasn't the point) I told him he'll have many more opportunities ahead to go all out lol.

My husband has told everyone about the gift I got him for father's day. It's also our first with a baby together.

SD13 got him nothing. He had to call her today.
