Complete Bummer
To make a long story short, I have a chance to get 2 Nascar tickets to the race in our state in November. I've never been and would love to go. I'm thinking a chance to get away for the weekend with the hubs...we never had a honeymoon or have been away together. But of course, he tells me we need to find a way to get another ticket because SD14 will "throw a fit" if she doesn't get to go. Mind you Sd14 does not like racing or Nascar and can not stay entertained or stay still for more than 30 minutes. Taking her would be a total distraction and honestly if she is going I really don't want to go. It would be basically like taking a 6 year old. It isn't worth the hassle and aggravation. I wouldn't mind at all if she was fun and pleasant to be around and acted like a normal 14 year old.
Maybe I'm being a bitch but I don't think that one outing just the two of us is asking too much.

I did not tell him I only wanted it to be the two of us but that is implied by "2" tickets but maybe I should tell him. Maybe there is a part of me that hopes he would "want" it to just be the two of us but no such luck.
