Today I will just laugh it off...

Because getting irritated at BM's lack of parenting in any way is stressful and quite frankly I just don't have it in me to be much more than amused today Dirol

BMs facebook status: To all the stuck up prudes in the (private) meijer, when my two year old is throwing a fit because she has to ride in the cart don't look at me as if I'm a bad parent. Don't tell me your kids never threw fits when they were two. Take your heads out of your asses. Thank you.

Then SO gets a text 10 minutes later saying:

BM: When you take SD to the store from now on make her ride in the cart because she throws a fit every time about not walking for me. Please you are making my job 10 times more difficult.

I just can't even comprehend it anymore, everyday its something new. SHE ISN"T WORKING so why can't she pottytrain her daughter? But we are working on it with little time we have with SD and she throws a fit saying we have to do it her way and SO is an asshole ectect....whatever

I just think its funny because when we go to the store, SD either rides in the cart or she can walk if she holds one of our hands.

Im not saying she is an angel all the time but most of the time she is perfectly well behaved. why you ask?

Why is she wellbehaved with us and not with BM? Well it could be because she knows the rules with us. If you throw a fit in the store you are marched right back to the car and no after dinner treat.

thats it.

BM LOVES to play the victim lol, oh here I am a struggling single mother with an out of control 2 year old that I can't handle and her dad is a pos and doesnt baby and coddle her so my job is so much harder blahblahblah....yup and HES the shitty parent.

Its amusing to me how she thinks she has any authority in how SO raises or parents their daughter on his time.....the fun never ends with this one!

she sounds so much like my BM. Everything SD does wrong in her care is somehow linked to our house. The kid was fully potty-trained in our care at 3 1/2 (which is late, but dh only had her 8 nights a month back then). BM couldn't potty-train her so that was our fault. The kid is nearly 8 and still has accidents with her mother. Why? Because her mother thinks it must be something that happneed here a week ago that cuased her to piss her pants at her mother's house.

Sounds like BM#4... Poor me I can't control my daughter so help me, you be the bad guy daddy. She calls us when she gets a naughty note from school saying she is naughty. Well did you ever stop to think that since you called the cops to get her back and have been denying visitation from us that maybe it's affecting your daughter? Or when she called to have daddy yell at the SD3 for lying. Wonder where she got that from. Or when you told us not to use sippy cups anymore and continued to drop her off at our house with a sippy cup. Its ok for you to break the rules you make but we can't. Wonders why she can't get her to eat for her and she is just a little piggy for us... May be because she gets tick of McDonalds and frozen food. Cook her something and sit at the table and eat with her. We don't let her get up until she is done. If she through a fit she is removed and sent to her room. Consistency is the key. They need to know that your threats are not empty... follow through. Stop being the poor helpless victim. My mom had four kids and did it. She went to school full time and got two degrees and us kids were always fed and taken care of. Yes I had to grow up quick and learn how to do stuff kids these days don't have to. (I make sure our SD's all know how to cook and clean... the right way) When they try to do something half ass like cleaning their bathroom. I go over it and if I have to re-do an area then they sit without talking while one of them helps me and then they have to go and do the same thing in another place in the house until they get it right. This might be cruel but I am not going to waste my whole weekends off cleaning up after them. Then when they ask if they can go swimming I tell them... No I am sorry I am just too tired to take you after having to re-do your chores.
