The Return of SS14

He'll. return after his normal two weeks with BM this afternoon after school. Last time he arrived, he was an ass to us all. Wouldn't talk to us, look at us, sat across the room with his arms folded across his chest, etc. basically, he was displaying all the signs of PAS that FauxSS9 was before he stopped being in our life altogether. DH and I are going to see if it happens again. If it does, we're going to see how long it lasts. If it continues, we're going to have a nice long discussion about PAS. He's old enough.

Oh, she's special all right! We would've loved to start pointing stuff out to SS14 a year or two back, but he's so socially and emotionally stunted we Didn't think he'd get it. He never gets it when we point out inconsistencies between what BM says and does. He just can't see it. He's desperate to earn the love he deserves from his mom, that he's never going to get because it's for her love child, Faux, and he just refuses to see any of the negative about her. At this point, we don't know if he'll ever understand.

Well, he's been home almost an hour. He said hi to BS17 because BS happened to be in the foyer when SS came in. He hasn't bothered to even come upstairs yet to say hello to me, and he knows I'm home.
