I just got back from lunch with Ann. And guess what? As of two weeks ago, BM can't handle Sailor Talk Mary anymore, and Hottie now has her FT! The kid just turned ten. TEN. And her mother already gave her away. Ann didn't mention this little tidbit yesterday when she was talking about the Disney trip.

I asked her how it was going, and she rolled her eyes. There's no more alone time for Ann and Hottie. No more weekends away. No more dinners out on a whim.

I told her, yeah, it's got to be hard going from 50/50 to FT. And she said, "Yeah, you ain't kidding!" Last night, they all went out for ice cream together. Sailor Mary was sitting in the middle of the back seat between the boys and kept putting her feet in their space, leaning into them, basically being the annoying thing that she is. Both boys asked her nicely, then not so nicely, repeatedly, to stop. She didn't. Ann asked her to stop. No dice. Finally, Tommy lost his shit and yelled, "Keep your $^#%ing feet to yourself!" Then, at the ice cream place, Mary demanded that Ann buy her a large sundae after being told she could have a small one. Mary argued nonstop after being told no, then started going through Ann's wallet to try to grab money! At that point, her ass would have been back in the car with nothing. But she accepted her small sundae, Hottie said nothing, and they left.

Great parenting right there, Hottie, but I digress.

This is everyday Mary. I was straight with Ann: If she's thinking of moving in with Tommy any time soon, she'll really need to think. Cuz that little B isn't going anywhere, and she's going to get a whole lot worse before she gets better. She actually LISTENED to me, and said yeah, that's not happening soon. I'm hoping I can save one SM from misery!
