SS4 will be turning 5 next week. DH and I are having his party on Saturday. This would be fine, but I have been sick all week. Probably caught something from SS as he is ALWAYS snotty and coughing.

This is how my week has gone so far:

Monday: Called out of work due to a sore throat. Could talk, but didn't want to answer phones all day.
Tuesday: Sore throat wasn't any better and get very little sleep over night because my nose started running all the time. As soon as I would fall asleep, it would start to drip and the tickle of that would wake me up. Decided to suck it up and go to work, I hate missing work. On the way in to work, I started having chest pains. Ugh! Now I am thinking great, I could be getting pnumonia. So, instead of going to work, I go to the ER (ironically enough, right acorss the street from the University I work at.) Nothing wrong with my heart, chest xray clear. Go home and rest. You can go back to work on Thursday.
Wednesday (today): Woke up at 1 and started vomiting. Havn't really stopped all morning. I feel like crap. Another night with very little sleep. When DH got up, I had him get me a popscile from the freezer. That stayed down for all of 10 minutes. I have been fighting my body to keep down maybe 5 small bites of dry toast and a few sips of water since about 8:30.

I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I can tell you that when Saturday rolls around, chances are, I won't want to play party hostess to my DH's crazy ass family. Especially since DH's 5 year old nephew is coming. That kid is demon spawn! No joke. But, that is what happens when DH's sister decides to reporduce with a legally retarted, registerd sex offender, who chooses to be homeless and live in the woods next to a waste water treatment plant. DH's sister is no better, she will actually drop this kid off to spend time with his father on weekends. This kid very well may have RAD or something close to it. SIL has just now started taking him to a place that will diangose his behavioral problems.

What a fun weekend I will have. Oh, and it gets better. DH and I sent out inviatations to the party a month ago. When DH's one cousin got it, she messaged me on FB to tell me she won't be coming because she is going to have her daughters party that day. Really!?! We only get SS EOWE and you can't reschedule your back yard BBQ to come and see him? We were pissed, but his family is like that. So, we don't know how many people will really be showing up for SS's party.
