First quiet drama free Easter in 8 years....

First off, BM was eating between 1 and 2, so unless I was getting up at 6 and cooking a major meal to eat at 11 or 12, there was no way we were having a family Easter dinner.
Secondly, as I posted, the skids wanted to go to BMs after 15 minutes on Easter morning...even DSO said that YSS only came to our house bc SS gets to pick the fast food when DSO picks him up (get none at the treatment ctr, take a bath (no baths at BMs bc of water bill), get the gift card and leave.

I decided at Christmas I wasn't going all out for holidays anymore...the skids got DSO a nice Harley mug and got me nothing...they know damn well their Dad doesn't buy thoughtful presents like I used to....at Tgiving, planned a big meal with all 3 skids, they left before the turkey was half done.

DSO got to spend time with OUR little grandkids. That at least treat him like more than a paycheck.

I'm sure SS20 wondered where his Easter things were but he didn't even call his Dad so who cares.

I can't believe this was such a good holiday in 8 years. If DSO wants more from his kids, up to him to do something about it. Skids just proved they want what our paychecks provide.

Yea, I was at that point a few years ago.

I warned DSO after the round of holidays this past winter. No more planning around the skids and I buy gift cards or cash or he can shop. Even DSO is seeing the light that his kids just want what we can pay for them. DSO had a bday at end of March. We held out having a party until SS14 had a weekend pass. First SS said his throat hurt so DSO runs to town to buy chloraseptic...which I said was a waste. Half and hour after DSO ran for him, SS wanted to go to BMs at 10am. I got stuck at home all day with my grandkids, that came for hang with skids and party, while DSO got to ride his 4 wheeler until 10pm that night.

I literally could write a book.

I should and dedicate it to BM bc I would make a fortune off of it. If I could write well, that is.
