OT - Toothpaste

Okay, I know: weird topic, but this is driving me batty.

Who can recommend a mint toothpaste that does NOT have some ickle chemical aftertaste? I used to love the brand of toothpaste I use, but the Minty Freshness after brushing is tainted. *dash1*

Toothpaste that produces too much foam is gag worthy.  I recommend Crest green gel with Scope Outlast.

I'm a big fan of Colgate Total in paste (not gel) form. I also bought one of those spinning head toothbrushes which forces me to use less toothpaste, but just enough to clean my teeth. That has helped immensely with taste and overfoaming.

Thank you! I've never been one to use a lot of toothpaste. Growing up in a big family, that was a big no-no. Biggrin

Oral-B Pro Expert Professional Protection Toothpaste - Clean Mint

Maybe you should get a few of a the travel size toothpastes from different brands to try.

TASM, you're reading my mind. I was just thinking, "I should get some minis to try." Thanks! *biggrin*

Tom's of Maine is a good option - also I use a tooth powder rather than normal toothpaste most of the time. I really hate the sweetness of most standard toothpastes and the "whitening" or "plaque removing" abrasiveness damages my poor teeth and gums leading to sensitivity.

I've never heard of that one, Cover. The only powder I ever used was baking soda. *bad* Mint is a must for me.

I use Ecodent tooth powder. My fave flavor is anise. It's baking powder based, but so good. It takes a few times to get used to and recommend the mint starting out. But Anise!
