OT / New Year Resolutions?

secret's picture

I'm keeping them small this year.

1) spend 15 minutes a day for me
2) spend 15 minutes a day for my husband
3) spend 15 minutes a day for the kids
4) spend 15 minutes a day for the home
5) Put 200$ / week aside - I aim to have 12,000$ by next Christmas. I've already started, I have 1400 $ set aside now.

I`d love to quit smoking... and it`s a reality.. I`m smoking about 5-6 a day now.
I`d also love to lose the last of this weight... I seem to be stuck at this weight. I`m not fat, I`m a healthy 145-150 lbs, but I`m still 25 lbs over my pre-baby weight.... of 16 years ago.

I`m not putting those two up as resolutions though.

No, it can be anything for the home. Shopping for a new nice smelling candle. Or taking a walk so I don`t destroy the house out of frustration Wink

i'm going to purge. i read a 'sneak peak' of a book on amazon that was extensive enough to not have to buy the book or read the whole thing.

"The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing" - https://www.amazon.com/Life-Changing-Magic-Tidying-Decluttering-Organizi...

that, and i am going to quit smoking. dh already has it almost completely whooped.

1) get my six pack (aka, eat healthy... I'm strong, and actually am thin... I just haven't been able to give up all my tacos and pizza... So I have just enough fat that I can feel it, but I cannot see it, lol)
2) Gym daily (except Sundays)
3) MMA 3 times a week
4) GET THAT DREAM JOB
5) A vacation with just DH... No skids... Even just overnight...
6) Put $500 a month into savings, and leave it there.
