Pictures of SD everywhere are driving me CRAZY!!!

What do you all do with your skids' pictures- like school pictures, sports pictures, etc.? My DH kept putting pics of SD up on our bookshelf and I slowly took them down (I left 1 or 2 but I don't see the need for more than that). Anyway, SD5 stays with MIL when DH works so today DH came home with SD and he has 3 new pics- 2 of just SD and 1 of him and SD together (apparently these were father's day presents SD put together with MIL but why does he need 3 of them?? 1 is plenty). I am just overwhelmed with all these pictures of the skid everywhere! I literally feel anxious when I see them. I don't mind having a couple here and there, but this is ridiciulous! So I ask- what do you do with the pictures??

I mostly don't fight it, honestly. They're just pictures, and don't inspire any kind of jealousy feelings for me. There are pictures of all three of us, and some of just me and DH too. He just loves his daughter and keeps all of her school pictures and vacation pictures in frames.

Have you thought about maybe trying to put them all together into a single digital frame slideshow? That way it takes up less space and fewer reminders no matter where you are in the house?

The digital photo album is a great idea. I may have to try that. I'm not sure what I can do with the ones we currently have though because they are already framed and these new 3 are father's day gifts from SD/MIL. Maybe I'm being mean but I seriously can't stand seeing her face everywhere!

I've been with DW for almost 15 years, and I still don't rate a photo in the house. She has a few of the skids, but it's not overwhelming. For us, I guess, it's not a big deal. Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah, I don't mind if he has a couple pictures of her up, but at this point I would say over 90% of the pictures we have up (we have a lot because we have a bookshelf full of framed pictures) are of her. It's a little creepy.

well, last December DH brought 5 pics from my SD at school plus 3 keychains with pics both sides. OMG!!! He put all the pics on the shelf. I moved them (almost hide them) and put only one pic near our kid´s photo.

When we were dating he invited me to his office, and he had almost 10 pics of SD!! I wanted to die, so many pics of the little monster. No picture of us...
Well, now that we have kids together I organise all the pics and try to limit SD´pics in our living room.

Find a place or buy portraits with a limit quantity of pics/space for pictures so you can organise and reorganise them in the way you like. You can say to your DH that the living room needed to be redecorated and you wanted to reorganise the pics!!!

OMG lol! Yes, that is too much! I think it's creepy! We have this bookshelf type of thing (it's actually shelves built into the wall but it looks like a giant bookshelf) and I have a lot of framed pictures on it, but I also have other things like vases, etc. Well he has it loaded up with pics of SD to the point it doesn't even look cute and decorated, it looks a cluttered mess! OMG I can't take it! This weekend I think I'll be "redecorating" mwahaha!

I think your bookshelf looks like a sanctuary for your SD!! Just put some candles and say a prayer
