I went to see my son, and came home and found all these Happy Birthdays from my friends here. Thank you all.

I left about 9:30 in the morning, got to my sons apartment about 12:30/1:00. We had so much fun! We went shopping-he wanted to get me a gift, and his gf bd is in a few days, so we shopped for her too. Went out and grabbed a sandwich, then my son bought a grill and grilled burgers & brat for his gf and I. We downloaded our favortie youtube videos, played games...had a beer to two.

Then I had a miracle. My son who has been AWOL from family-I just can't believe this-I got an email from him wishing me a happy mothers day and happy birthday. You guys, I cried. My oldest has not contacted me or talked to me on mothers day or my bd or even Christmas for so many many years. I haven't seen him in 3 years; he just disappeared. But I don't think I've heard from him for either special day since he was 16! And he's now 31.

And SD14 called to wish me Happy Birthday and tell me she loves me.

So I'm so happy. This is the best day I've had in sooo long.

And thank you all for the little surprise wishes when I got home tonite.
