It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.

This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.

We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.

Sometimes I feel like I am literally going crazy. Yesterday I spent half an hour working on a photo of BM's face cutting and pasting it over a picture of the witch from the Wizard of Oz !! I know I am obsessing (ya think right?) but I actually got some satisfaction from my creative art effort. Then ripped it up and threw it in the trash with the rest of the garbage. Am I crazy or does this happen to you too? :jawdrop:

Well I did buy a Voodoo doll

Well I did buy a Voodoo doll when I went to NOLA but it was a "Happiness Doll" and I put it in my car. I bought it too protect me from bad vibes lol

No, but I think BM has one

No, but I think BM has one for FDH and I.

Whenever one of us gets a sharp pain somewhere, my FDH will say, "BM must have her voodoo doll out again!"
