Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

When your baby is 2, he will do the same thing the OP's SD is doing. I don't believe for one second that you will view it as rude or disrespectful. More than likely, you will both think it's cute. You will embrace him, kiss him and allow him to snuggle up with the two of you.

I believe you are the one I gave parenting advice (meant for your boyfriend) to the other day. Now here you are with this. I think there is a bad dynamic between the three of you, and I don't know whether it is you or him, I am not there IRL. I think you might want to step back from this man and let him raise his kid. Doesn't seem like you come first with him. Which will lead you to resent this baby... more toxicity.... bad for all 3 of you, but esp. baby.
