Chef is Doing better.
I can tell because he's snapping at me and being sarcastic which will eventually lead to full blown yelling at me/ blaming me for things I have no control over or for things that are actually his fault.
He was a wreck there for a while... his toenails were blue/purple his knees were swollen visibly and all of his joints were aching. Took him a whole week to recover and he is still taking it easy. He did manage to put in a new patio door (with my help, of course) which we needed desperately. The old patio french doors were quite literally falling apart.
He asked me to help him on a job because he didn't think his knees were going to hold out. I followed him in my car to the customer's place which is a senior high rise that you need to be buzzed into.
He yelled at me for calling the customer to buzz me in on the intercom--I was about 10 minutes behind him and he sure as hell wasn't going to wait for me. "Why are you calling the customer and not me??!!" Um I didn't think you had the capability to buzz visitors in. (roll eyes)
I'm sure the customer heard his berating of me. Which was funny because the customer took a shine to me, calling me "young lady" which I'm sure irritated Chef. Ha ha the customer is closer to my age than is Chef! I didn't have the heart to tell him that I am 8 years older than Chef.

What was wrong?
You probably already said what was wrong with him and I missed it.
No one knows
He took a fast urine test which turned out good. Refused any other diags. Hopefully it will cause him to lay off the booze at least until he finishes the rental rehabs.
I'm sorry. He has no right to
I'm sorry. He has no right to treat you as his personal punching bag, sick or not.
Two sides of the coin, when your spouse is military and away all the time it's hard. It's also hard when you work together and are around each other 24/7. Ask me how I know lol.
Definitely!
Having a business with Chef is no picnic especially when he likes to take out his day on me.
Frankly I don't know which is worse when he's sick and expecting me to wait on him hand and foot or when he's his regular haughty self. He usually has me running in several different directions at the same time

DW and I agreed from very early in our marriage that we would not work for the same company if we could at all avoid it. We did not want all of our eggs in one basket. We also wanted some personal accomplishments that were not cross polinated within our marriage.
So far, it has worked well. Though we have both had approaches by companies that the other worked for a few times in our marriage.
I am SO glad Chef is doing
I am SO glad Chef is doing better but dislike how nasty he is to you. ((hugs))
