Just sad...

BM hasn’t seen her kids in 2 weeks. She dropped off SS14’s backpack that we bought him on Tuesday because Wednesday was the first day of school. She complained to my DH about having to drop it off, she lives 5 min away. So the kids are upstairs when she drops it off. She doesn’t even ask how they are or ask to see them. No hug, no I miss you, no I hope you have a good 1st day of school… nothing. Just drops it off and bails. What a B ! I pick up my YSS on his 1st day and he is going on and on about what a great day he had. Then he says to me, my mom signed all of my forms as “parent or guardian” don’t you think that you actually have to do something for your kid in order to call yourself a parent? My jaw hit the floor. Both SS have become more and more vocal about her neglect when they are with her. YSS says he’s going to talk to her when he sees her next. Wonder how that will go over? When someone just doesn’t give a bleep about their own kids, I don’t know how he can get through to her that she is hurting their feelings. Who the EFF are these women that care so little, I just don’t get it.

My brother's ex-wife fights for more and more custody for the simple fact that she wants child support.

Her daughter (my neice) said straight to her face "I bet you wouldn't even want to see me anymore if you weren't getting paid to." And that's all from the arguments she hears at her mother's house. My brother is extremely careful to NEVER involve the kid in anything, including overhearing conversations on the phone.

And she's only 7. I can only imagine what the future holds for their family.

I have the same frustration. BM will go for months without contacting or seeing SD9. The only time BM wants to see SD is when she runs out of pictures to put on her facebook. I guess she thinks the pictures "prove" she is a great mom. What a fucking joke.

Poor kids! We have the same thing going on, except our BM hasn't seen SD in over a year and we don't even know where BM lives. SD generally doesn't want to talk to her mom and tells me that I'm a better mom to her and that I'm nice. Hurts my heart for the kid, though I am glad that we have a good relationship. BM also had the balls to thank me for acting "as a mother to SD" while she "gets her shit together". Um. WTF. This isn't a temporary situation. It's permanent. For all intents and purposes I AM SD's mom now.

i had a similar situation with my BD8 this year. My daughters go to their fathers approx 10 days a month right now - he doesn't participate with them outside those 10 days ever and often needs to give them back at least 1 of those 10 days a month since he made plans and forgot he was having them.

I went to the parents meet the teacher night. Absolutely no reason for my XH NOT to attend. I had the kids so he was free, it was at 7pm so he wasn't working, he lives 10 mins from the school. On my BD8's desk there was a little sign she made - 'Reserved for BD8's Mom!" She had decorated it.

Why is this similar to your situation? Beacuse I looked around and many of the signs said Reserved for kidname's PARENTS, kidname's Mom and Dad, kidnames' Family, etc.

BD8 only put MOM - and it made me sad that even she knew he wouldn't bother to show up.

Our womb donor drove by her kids walking down the street one day and looked the other way. YSS chased after the car and she jumped out ran to my front porch to drop the shit off and got back in car totally ignoring him! He is in 5th grade and this is the 1st year she has shown up at meet the teacher night. Looser! Last week at OSS physiatrist office she jumped up in the middle of the meeting and said I have to go? Doctor was pissed! Oh well- Khama will get them all. I hope they all rot alone in nursing homes.
