Just logged in to see if FOC has added Medusa's portion of recent medical expenses yet. Yup, they have and they sent a new Income Withholding Notice to her "employer."

ASS ages out in June - her support will drop, but since she is soooooooooooo far behind, we will hardly notice it. Oh, wait, she doesn't pay, so yeah, we won't notice it at all!!!

Wait, isn't Medusa her own employer??
Will you get anything from her taxes? When there is back CS owing here they send the tax refund to the parent who is owed the money.

She is still employed by the company that bought her company a few years back. Part of the purchase agreement was keeping her on salary for a few years and now she is straight commission. Of course, she hardly sells anything since she spends so much time at her new venture, The MedusaUsedCrapStore, and it's easier to try to convince the Court that she is poor if her only "income" is from her "employer."

Actually, had the IWO been sent to HER instead of her other job, we would get nothing - lol! At least this way, we get 50% of whatever her other job pays her. They won't disobey an IWO, but she sure would!!

We can't seem to get an answer as to why her tax refunds aren't intercepted....

That's what I think is going on.....along with the photos of her mother's colostomy bag that she produced during discovery, she also gave us her 2014 and 2013 tax returns. What a surprise? She owed $10 one year and $50 the next.

it was not only a picture of her mother's colostomy bag, the bag was connected to her mother. Her story as to why she couldn't meet the discovery deadlines was because she was taking care of her mother and figured (incorrectly) that the Court would be viewing the discovery documents. She thought she was going to get some kind of sympathy.

The other thing that they do here if you owe back CS is take your DL and passport.
My niece has had to go through all of this because the father of her child is such an ass. He's great at taking his son every weekend and really is a good Dad to him but trying to get any CS out of him is like getting blood from a stone. He'll show up in new $400 jeans and tell her he has no money for CS!
He once told her on a Thursday that he wasn't taking BS for the weekend because his new GF was taking him to Mexico!

No more of that, he now has no passport or DL and is franticly trying to get back CS paid off so that he can drive a company vehicle.

OMG the DL and passport thing in this country! MY SO gives BM 12 monthly postdated cheques every year. He was always current with CS but BM stopped giving receipts. She claimed she didn't have to give him receipts when he requested them. Then she started cashing the cheques late. Then she tried to get his DL and passport taken from him by claiming he was behind in his payments! It back fired, she now has to sign for her cheques!

What an idiot! The cheques are dated and the bank will show the day it was cashed!

My niece goes through maintenance enforcement and it was the judge who made it mandatory.
They take his money off his cheque or directly from him and deposit it to her account.

When he was raging about how it was all her fault he was in this mess, she said nope, you were the one who wanted to go to court! He thought he could get CS lowered because he'd finally done his taxes for the last 4 years, but he'd lied on his taxes and I was his boss for 2 of the 4 years. So, he's not only in trouble with maintenance but CRA as well. He's an idiot too!

What BM would do was, hold on to the cheques for over 30 days after they were dated before cashing them. In their agreement, if he was in arrears or more than 30 days late just once, she could have the agreement changed and take him to court. With out a receipt from her that she received them, he had no proof he gave them to her. But, like I said, it back fired. Now every time she gets a cheque, she has to sign for it!

In Michigan, you can't renew your DL or passport either, but only if you aren't paying anything. She does pay, albeit less than half of her monthly obligation, so the State leaves her alone. The one exception was at the end of 2014 when she was only about $600 behind. She suddenly got all caught up - because she was trying to form the LLC that owns TheMedusaCrapResaleShop and she couldn't do that if she was in arrears.

She is a classic example of you knew what you were getting into. They were together off and on for 10 years. He was always a selfish user. He would buy himself a new pair of shoes and not give her the money for rent. She kicked him out and took him back so many time we lost count.
She thought that having a child would force him to mature and do what was right for his son, if not for her. Sometimes she's an idiot too!

He claimed less than half of what our company had paid him on his taxes and when I provided the courts with all the backup that proved his actual income he accused me of creating false documents. He honestly thought that I had made up fake documents and sent them to CRA in order to screw him over and get her more CS! :?

Don't know.....as with all things Medusa, it vanished. Once Awesome Attorney subpoenaed the information related to the Mustang, she knew that we were on to her. As you know, she put it up for sale, and after awhile it was no longer parked in front of The MedusaCrapResaleStore.

I am sure she sold it, but I don't really care anymore - lol!!
