When will skid resentment subside following birth of ours baby?

I should start by saying that I lucked out in the skid department. We all get on very well and they have really taken to DD. I had DD 6 days ago and we have had skids almost every day since. I'm at my wits end. I can't stand how my SD follows my husband around like a puppy dog and even stands outside the bathroom while he is in there. SS is much easier to handle. I know these feelings are me and I'm trying to keep telling myself that, but I am becoming increasingly annoyed by SD always being in my DD face and in DH face and in my face. She's 5, almost 6 and in my opinion requires far too much attention. Anyone have any advice to help me? I have never felt irritation like this with them before.

Ugh I'm due in 4 weeks and I feel like I cannot stress enough to SO that I DO NOT want Skids around for AT LEADT a week after our LO arrives. Hell I don't want anyone around because I know we're going to need that time just the 3 of us ... I'm stressing like crazy about it

If she were your bio too, you would find it less irritating and more endearing.
