... for the obigatory letter from school stating that skid has not returned all his materials back to school and therefore will not be getting his final grades released.
Oh and the letter assigning YSS (happened for SD and OSS every single year as well) to summer school. This will be YSS 15.5's 9th straight year of summer school. Or as I like to call it "snacks and socializing for six weeks" which somehow makes up for being truant and tardy all of the regular school year.
I can practically set my Samsung Gear S3 watch by it .

Oh, we just received a bill for $95 from the school because SD16 didn't return a math book. (Must be a 7th grade level math book because that sounds very cheap.)
It's gut busting funny how the school "messed up" some addresses and never sent a single thing about SD's grades all year, but they magically found dad's contact info when they needed $$$. Hilarious.

OMG, I hate the stupid NYS
OMG, I hate the stupid NYS summer school set up! Fail all year, show up three hours a day for six weeks in the summer, "earn" a 65, the bare minimum to pass, and move on up to the next grade, completely unprepared. OSS did this every summer, from 6th grade on, for at least two of his core classes, usually three. Why put any effort into life when you can skate by? He learned BM's motto well! BUT... we can't fail anyone. Can't hold them back. That would hurt their delicate self-esteem. And being an effing moron won't?
