I Updated My Will!

And went full Joan Crawford!  Chef can remain in the house as long as he pays the bills and DOESN'T house any of the grown ferals nor any of their would be spawn.  The ferals are specifically named and get nothing.  I mentioned the reason that they have self estranged for many years.

Chef gets his tools, work vehicles and work implements.  He moved in with nothing more than the shirt on his back. And all the work he has been doing is basically to earn his room and board whilst he pays the Girhippo.  I would be more generous, but he has not been particularly grateful and many times downright nasty.

My bios split the proceeds of any real estate and my personal vehicle..  I left a few gifts to my granddaughter.

Wise move, TT!

Your foresight reminds me that, at age 78, it's time that I take a page out of your book and get my own will written. I'm married to a guy who would never cheat my children out of their rightful inheritence if I were to drop dead today but always best to have one's intentions carried out to the letter.

Moving in with you, Hon, was Chef's lucky day. I hope that, eventually, he realizes what an exceptional, generous and tolerant wife you have been.

Has a tendency to bite the hand that feeds him.   He also has a strange reverence for his ex-MIL.   Possibly due to the attachment of his own elderly mother who passed some time ago.

I'm so glad you are taking care of YOU. DHs kids will not see one dime from my estate either. And they'll never live in THIS house (my home) should I die before DH. Got that taken care of.

Again, congrats! I know this is a weight off your mind.

Awesome! Its what they deserve!

I will be pulling a Joan Crawford as well. All my little assets and money will go to my next of kin blood relatives who survive me. I also stash money overseas! I dont plan on owning anything joint with my husband because I know it will be a waste of money only to go to his children in the end!

Your partner has more than enough. I think you have ticked all the boxes for the right provisions for him and you

Either.  Everything is in my name alone.  I did ask him if he wanted the latest duplex that needs to be rehabbed in his name and he said no.

Who is going to make sure chef plays by your rules.  Who going to check the house ti make sure SK don't move in. And if they do who is going to throw Chef out of the home?  Or is he going to do what he wants and move everyone in

He would be able to keep an eye on Chef's activities as he lives close enough.

They wouldn't know what to do with cleaning implements nor coat hangers.  Their mother is an utter slob And so are they.
