BD13 told BM she wants to move in with us...

And no one could be ready for the consequences. My Ex went from agreeing, to anger (yelled at her something fierce and I heard it on the phone) to acceptance (last night, to saying this gem via text today:

"I won't sign anything to change custody until MAYBE one week before school starts (for 2014-2015)"

Seriously, that's not nearly enough time. Could it be done? Sure. But really? One week?

So much for doing it the rational way. And yeah, her psycho rant that I heard over the phone was one that I wished that I recorded.

You need to go get the paper from the lawyer. Have your daughter sign it in front of the notary and then file it with the courts. Chances are BM will give up like ours did when she was served. We did this when SS was 13 and we now have him full time. He did it because BM did it to us exactly this way when SD was 13 and we gave up after a long, expensive battle. SS couldn't take the drama with BM and SD and came to us to get him out.

It moved quickly once we had BM served with his request. Important thing was SS signature on the document.

I don't know where you live but here in GA this was easy and all it was was a letter from SS to BM that was notarized and drafted by our attorney. Same exact letter that BM and SD did to us...

Must be your county in GA. Wouldn't work that way where I am, although I think you guys started with 50/50 so maybe that's the difference.
