Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

And those women who are
And those women who are unable to support those children? It takes two to make a baby. Why aren't they being fined for being stupid enough to have his babies?
They can easily be just as
They can easily be just as foolish. They may not have known about the other babies and baby mamas. However, I read nothing that said these women are on the government dole...so they could be working and supporting the children they created.
He, on the other hand, is not, and like you said...it takes TWO to make a baby.
Where I used to live, there
Where I used to live, there was a man who would come through the court system who had 32 children. That's right, 32. (I know a lot of people who worked for DHR there.) He never married any of them and he would just laugh when DHR tried to get more child support out of him. It was a big joke to him. I always wanted to know what in the world those women were thinking. That was a small town and it is difficult for me to believe that the women did not at least know about some of the baby mommas. He never married any of them, just liked to procreate and stick it to the system, I guess.
I was in court one day on an unrelated matter and I actually got to meet him. I walked up to him and said, "Aren't you the guy with 30 children?" He smiled and said, "Thirty two." He laughed and walked away.
I thought most states have a
I thought most states have a law that says after 15 children the father doesn't have to pay child support.
My profile pic is this
My profile pic is this monster from the original Star Trek series. When men looked at her, they saw a beautiful woman, but in reality she was a monster that would suck all the salt from their bodies and the men would die. It seemed evil enough to warrant the evil Step Monster title. It also scared the heck out of me when I was little and I saw it on t.v.
I think I was quite pissed off at DH and SS at the time I chose it LOL. I may change it at some point...maybe.
LOL! Love that!
