Sometimes we need to be reminded…..

Okay so I was sitting on the couch in the family room last night about 6:45 pm watching t.v. and my husband yells downstairs “I’ll see you later” so I yelled back… “where are you going?” and he said he was going to the store and then over a friend’s house…inside I thought “You were in class all night last night and you have a meeting tomorrow night so I was hoping that you’d stay home tonight and cuddle up with me” but what I said was “Okay” (cause I’m emotionally needy and I can’t turn him into a homebody just because I’m one…he’s the “social” type)…then he says “do you wanna come with me?” and I said “no, but thank you anyway” so he left and I started watching t.v. again…about 15-20 minutes later I heard the garage door and he comes trotting down stairs. I said “I thought you were going over X’s house after you went to the store” he said “I was but I just came home” I asked why and he said “because you said you didn’t want me to go” and I was like “I didn’t say that!” to which my husband says “Yes you did, I heard it in your voice”….that right there is why I put up with all the STEPMOM CRAP I do!

hmmm....that's funny...he should have asked you face to face so he can hear what you said. i too sometimes have to put my foot down about hubby going out too many times and me being stuck w/our daughter, we can't take her to the bar. so i'm home w/her alone when he goes out. if you need to put your foot down do so, otherwise they'll think it's okay to come and go as they please. and like you said, what about our needs.

That is great nise! Your husband knows you very well and instead of ignoring 'that sound in your voice' he listened to it and did the right thing by comning home to be with his wife. They really do make it all worth it!!!

this brought tears to my eyes !! Seriously....that man is intune to feelings whether you know it or not. How sweet of him to come home....and without attitude!! You go girl.

I was just happy that I didn’t have to tell him not to go…on his own he picked up on the fact that I didn’t want him to go and he came home…it meant more to me then if he would have stayed home begrudgingly because I asked him to. You guys are right, and it just showed me that maybe our guys are more in tune with our needs then we give them credit for sometimes!

Make a GREAT Day!

It must have been a full moon because my husband was sitting with me in front of our fireplace and we were talking about how well he gets along with people at work and his boss introduced him to a customer and called him an angel it made my husband feel good it was written all over his face.Anyways after he told me this he said that i am the one that makes him a better man and it shows in everthing he does he even had a couple of tears well he was saying this to me.It is moments like that you know this person is the one you will grow old with and your love will never die.

And we all know that we need a “re-fill” every once in a while…the love is the “potion” we need to fight the wicked witches we have to deal with!

Make a GREAT Day!

I agree with all of you...and we always have to remember to keep the witches within in check as well. Each one of us has that side to us!
