Graduation Day! And a quick laugh for the am.

So here we are today is the day. Well.. last night we weren't sure if it would be today or tomorrow because of the weather...

SOOO! SS17 comes home from work and says this to SO..

"Mom says if graduation is cancelled tomorrow she won't be able to make on Wednesday because she is going on vacation and already had to postpone it a day." 
 

SO shocked by this goes.... "she really said that?!" 
 

SS17 replies well yeah and she had the vacation planned. He brushes of BMs comment basically.

SO and I were like WTF. TERRIBLE!! So naturally we were hoping for rain but it will be nice clear this afternoon for graduation. So lucky for BM she gets to attend. 
 

Now, SDs 8th grade step up ceremony is in 2 hours. BM already texted SO "are we meeting up?" SO says now separate seating. She then asks if he picked her seat...(like do you NOT know how to read an email) He answers with: no first come first serve.

SO says if she finds him and sits with him he will have another "talk" with her or if she pulls any stunts while they are leaving. I told him to prepare himself for that... 

Let the day begin!!

UPDATE: SDs step up.

Not to bad. SO avoided her so that's good. She didn't hang out to long after but, gave a speech to one of SDs teacher like she's involved.. ya know.

ALSO.. she is wearing colored contacts now. The ones today make her eyes have a bright blue circle around them. SO told me this and when they got home SD made a comment to me about them too. She says she has purple ones too that I've seen.... LOLLL I can't. I just said purple.. ohhh..... 

Also, we got flowers and a succulent for SD. SO tells me that when they got to go over to SD BM says.. "oh sorry honey I forgot your card and flowers at home." 
 

THERE ISNT A CARD AND FLOWERS STOP! LOL

I'm curious how she managed to have that many kids while still being a complete and utter useless mother?

Glad it went well for SD, now we just need the update for SS17.

It's impressive isn't it?!! I said to SO sooo is she going to show up to SS17s graduation with flowers and card for SD?! Haha. Come on..

What a horrible thing to say to your child about their graduation day and selfishly make the child feel bad about their parent's adjusted vacation plan for a milestone in their life! 

It would drive me crazy how your BM keeps expecting your DH to pick seats for her too like they are together or something and then keeps expecting to sit with you both after it has been stated that is not what is happening. Crossing my fingers for a peaceful day for you, your DH, and your SS!
