okay, so i called bb last night and worked the psychology...
other than wanting to reach through the phone and strangle her at least a dozen times, things went well. i was so proud of myself! i definitely utilized my psych minor! hahaha. she of course painted the best picture of herself, how she has never lied throughout the past 8 years and how she has always waited patiently for dh to take responsibility, blah blah blah BLAH. it's such bullshit, i can't even regurgitate it for you all. so we'll see how long this lasts!!!

Good luck, hopefully with you as the go between you can get some things accomplished for the kids sake. I always feel that I am the Evil Step Mother, the bad person but it seems that we all are here trying to make things better for our children and our step children. I applaud your effort regardless of the outcome.

Well don't ask my SD
She might not agree with you on that one. I am sure from her perspective I am just screwing with her life but I really feel like someone needs to be a parent. BM wants SD to be her friend (because she doens't have any) and DH wants to be sweet dada that never says no. That leaves me being the heavy because I am not going to deal with a spoiled child. ~sigh~ Today anyway. Tomorrow I might just say "screw it" and let DH deal with her. AHHHH the roller coaster ride of step parenting. Gotta love it!
