O/T- I Could Just Go Postal On DH.

I can remember MIL telling me, my DH talks to her like a hired hand. I can so relate.

This is what I deal with:

DH...you going to be ready at noon.

Justme54...Yes.

DH...we need to leave then...where is my size 40 jeans.

Justme54...you have NO size 40 jeans...do you want me to buy you a pair of 40 jeans.

DH...NO!

I deal with petty shit like this all the time...trips, skid visit and trips to visit Skids.

Getting to the point...We went on an overnight stay. I notice I had 2 different earrings on. OK! Do I kept them on and think no one will notice. Do I have something to put them in where they will not get broken. I can not find them now. I tore the house up.
OK...I know that is not DH fault. However, I got the red ass for him today. I feel if he was not on my ass for no reason,
I could focus to be more organized. The sad thing is... I get ready and end up waiting on him.

He also shoving items of mine here and there when Skids come to visit. I am going to get some balls and put a stop on that on next skid visit. I am sure it will be a fight. I just do NOT get it. DH's little old was so nasty. I busted my ass to clean it out to get sold. They have a lot nicer place to visit before DH moved in with me. WHAT IS IT...IS HE MARKING THE HOUSE LIKE A DOG!

We are leaving Friday for a trip to see SD and her husband. I have got so much to do before he gets home tomorrow...the yard, clean house, pack....AND...get master bathroom in order. I just finished painting the master bathroom. I have got a headache like a migraine. I need to take a PC power and take a nap, so I can regroup.

Thanks for listen. It just drives me crazy when I can not find things.

You simply have to tell him to STOP touching your things. Or, be passive aggressive and start moving his things around so he can't find them. (I'll admit, I've done the latter.)

Nip it now or it'll just get worse.

And when he asks you where his stuff is? "I don't know, where'd you leave it?" and walk away.

Kathc,

Thanks! I just really find it so offending...even more so that his house was such a dump. I would have never told him that. He let his mother move in when his dad died. She was lazy. That was before I came in the picture. When we had to put her in a nursing home, I had a mess on my hands. I had all her stuff to clear out. I look at it as he was being good to his mother. He also worked 7/7. In my mine, I made excuses for him.

He asked about spoons one day. I told him...they are in the dishwasher and they are clean. It took one spoon out and then stated...he was going to buy more spoons. He has NEVER LOADED OR UNLOADED THE DISHWASHER in 5 years. I really do not want him to as he is a bull in a china shop. He breaks shit.

Geez. If he breaks it, though, he needs to replace it. Maybe he's pulling that routine to get you to do everything. I dated a guy who "couldn't do a good job" cleaning anything, I'd always have to redo it so finally I stopped asking him to clean. Then it dawned on me, the asshole did it on purpose. I started telling him to redo it when it was still filthy. I broke up with him not long after but for the rear of our time together I made that jerk pull his own weight in the apartment.
