I managed to fix my laptop so I am back in commission. Here's a little update on life. SD turned 17 today. I haven't seen her all day because her bf picked her up at school and took her to dinner and to his house. I was nice and I texted her happy birthday which is more than she has ever done for me. She said that we are all going to MIL's house on Saturday afternoon to celebrate her birthday but DD11 has a soccer game so little does anyone know, we will not be attending.

DH and I have gone to war over how SD is getting home from work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So far I have held my ground and not done it at all!! It was definitely worth all the fights we had for him to see what a pain in the ass it is to drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back for her to get picked up at 7:30 at night.

Bus stop wars have officially ended. DD11 leaves the house at 6:55 to get to the bus stop on time. SD17 leaves the house at 7:09 and hops in the car with the neighbors because she is too lazy to walk. DD says SD gets there with about 10 seconds to spare everyday!

And I have officially decided to go back to work and end this life as a SAHM. I need my financial independence, I need to contribute financially to the family and I need to get out of this house!!!
