Vent- What is with the exes my DH has??? If it's not BM another one has to pop up

My DH comes home from work this morning. Wakes me up very sweetly and downstairs we go to have some coffee after waking up the kids and waiting for them to come down for breakfast. DH and I are chatting and he says to me, "I got the weirdest email last night from BOB (back off bitch...for here)" My response, "Who? What?" DH says "You know, BOB" Me: Oh...

Now BOB is a woman that my DH dated about five or six years ago for about 6-8 months. They broke up and I believe it was due to the screwing around by her with another man. I'm not positive as I've never asked the specifics, it's not relevant to me, but the man she was messing with was a very good friend of mine's boyfriend. They were quite serious. This BOB walked up to my friend on NYE when they were at the same establishment and said "oh you must by Sweetie, Jerkhead talks about you all the time. It's so nice to finally meet his girlfriend and to see him so happy" just out of the blue. Well three days later, Jerkhead tell my friend there is someone else, it's been going on for a long time, and he's in love with her so they break up. Jerkhead and BOB get engaged two months later and married six months later. Again, this all started four or five years ago and of course due to my friend being heartbroken I didn't like BOB. Then I meet DH and we start dating and I realize he dated BOB back around that time. Again, I didn't ask for specfics...it was before me, has no relevance to me...and life carried on.

So my DH says look, and pulls up on the computer his work email and shows me the email. This is the correspondence.

BOB: Hey there! I,ve been meaning to email you but have just been crazy busy ( no need to explain bitch...he hasn't been waiting for an email from you anyway). I hear you bought XYZ house next to my mom's. That's awesome. I told my mom at least she will have a good neighbor.. It's so weird going to my mom's now and seeing lights on in that big huge house! I'm really happy for you DH. Maybe I'll see you more often now. I hope you and the boys are doing well, and you're happy Smile Take care.
REALLY??? You haven't spoken to my DH in five years other than the occasional cordial hello if we run into you at the grocery store...now you're hoping you'll see him more??? And he didn't buy the house alone bitch, him and his WIFE live there with their FIVE kids...and yes she knew he was married.

My DH response: Thanks BOB, we are all doing well and loving the new place and all the room.
Not sure a response was necessary, and if so it would have been better had he said hanging and I love new place, Thanks! But he is a man and they are dumb and don't get that whole use other words to drive a certain message home...

So she responds to his response!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!
BOB: That's great. I'm so happy for u. (yes a u not a you)

GRRRR....this irks me. Or am I being unreasonable??

He said "we" that's more than most of these clueless men would have done...

And, yeah, she needs to go back under her rock.

Right?? They haven't spoken in FIVE years or so. All of sudden she's so happy for him? And she hopes she'll get to see him more?? I'm so annoyed. Not with DH as it isn't his fault. She works at the same place he does on opposite shifts, and she sent it to his work email from her work email. I'm sure so her husband doesn't know she did it. Word on the street is they are rocky and have been for about a year now...

I swear...I don't know how I'm going to handle her when it's summer and outside if she decides to start traipsing over. I love my new house. LOVE IT. Been there two weeks...and now this. To me it is completely fishing and trying to open communication. DH best be done responding...or I won't hold my tongue and he'll hear about it from me!

We RARELY see her. Bumped in to her a couple time in the last four years I've been with my DH at the grocery store. He usually will initiate the cordial hello because we are literally two feet away from her in the aisle and she just looks and doesn't say anything.

She wants eye candy, she best be peeping out of her mother's drapes, or I'll be damn sure to give her something to watch!

You all live next door to her mother??? If so, she knows he is married. She' playing games. I would keep my eyes on that one.

We just moved in next door to her mother. Her mother has seen us many times at the grocery store and keeps asking if we are moved in or when we would be moving in (We just moved in two weeks ago). She is very aware he is married. Our kids go to school together, BM and her became friends on FB after I came into the picture, and BOB and I have mutual acquaintances. So she is WELL AWARE he is married. She knows we've been together for a few years, she knows we've been married for over a year, and she knows BOTH of us and ALL our kids moved into that house.

She figures that if her relationship is on the rocks, maybe his is too. She wants to get some other guy on a string in case the guy she is with bails.

Testing the waters...nothing more. Just be confident in yourself. She will swim away and look for another fish.
