OMG, why the heck would he SAY this?! (O/T)

I posted on Facebook about how people get behind the wheel of acar and think they can act like assholes. Yes, I used that word. I am not a cusser. I don't cuss in real life. Ask my kids, I've probably maybe cussed in front of them once or twice in their entire lives. By contrast, oldest BD was only 2 when she properly used the F word in a sentence as an adjective, thanks to DH's potty mouth. I cussed on Facebook only for emphasis. My kids are not on Facebook, they will not see the post.

Some people commented on my post, and DH wrote:
Please don't use the word asshole in front the kids

Seriously DH!? Why would you even post something like that?

I responded:
I am not the one who cusses in front of the kids and you know that

I mean, what the heck?! He's not posting about my encounter with the jerk in the other car or about how people can or cannot act like jerks when they are driving. He is flipping calling me out, acting like I cuss all the time AND implying I don't have the common sense and judgement NOT to cuss in front of my kids. What ... the ... heck?!

Haha, that's true, I didn't think of that option!

I guess the only appropriate response to cuss more! In front of children and small pets. And while talking on the phone in line at the store.

Just delete his comment - why let other people see him acting like a jerk to you?

And then hide your feed from him.

Are you sure he wasn't joking? I have the potty mouth in our house, so I will jokingly gasp and cover my ears if DBF uses any remotely strong language like "Crap!"

I don't know. Maybe I overreacted? But he will do something and then dead serious scold me for doing something similar, so I'm not sure.

I'd totally delete his comment (and your reply). So rude, and even if he's joking, not everyone will get it. He should have used a Wink or something. Anyway, just delete.

I don't think you overreacted. I would have told him that it was better than saying it to their face like he does!! Then I would have unfriended him!!
